Last weekend with sketchbooks in hand, folk from across the World ventured out to sketch and connect with nature.
It’s a wrap folks! A massive Thank You to everyone who joined in with #sketchacrosstheworld for the very first time on the 4th and 5th May, 2019. I’m totally overwhelmed by the amazing sketches and the connection with nature you shared with everyone.
We literally did Sketch Across the World! Covering all 7 Continents, Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, South America, North America and Antarctica.

18 different Countries including:
Africa (South Africa & Seychelles)
Antarctica
Australia
Belgium
Canada (Yukon & Ontario)
England
France
Germany
Greece
India
Ireland
Italy
Kuala Lumpur
Scotland
Spain
Uruguay
USA (Arkansas, California, Chicago, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Virginia)
Wales

A total of 70 artists took part over the weekend producing 116 sketches. All sharing your part of the world and what you see, from a fur seal on Antarctica, to a beach in the Seychelles, to the view from the Offas’s Dyke Path in Wales, to the little village in the lap of the Himalayas.
I’m going to be taking them in for a while, then will share another blog in time, with snippets of the experiences from around the World. You can enjoy the gallery of sketches on Instagram , by clicking on the following link. #sketchacrosstheworld
If you’ve enjoyed the challenge, you can join in with Moment Sketchers on the first weekend of each month, where you will find me taking part.

Well Done everyone! It’s been amazing seeing all the sketches, reading your experiences and connecting with you throughout the World.
