This is one of my favourite sketch adventures, I had such a lovely connection with this tree planted in 1898, making it 122 years old. What an incredible tree standing here looking at me. I nestled against another trunk, to made sure it made it onto my sketchbook page.

I’ve been drawn more to nature over the last few months and I’m hooked on sketching tree feet at the moment, on my walks whilst I’m out and about. My adventures in nature wouldn’t be the same without something little wanting to join in. A tiny caterpillar rocked up on my green watercolour paint. So I introduced it back to nature again.

The next time you are out on a wander take a closer look and see if you can see some tree feet. Are you planning a creative adventure this week?
I feel the love here, this is a beautiful post. As always!
Thank you so much a Sarah! I do love a tree sketch adventure. More posts to come. 😁
