Forest Bathing

Into the woodland I went today, looking  for spring-time signs, flowers and buds emerging, to smell the woodland air and breathe it in, to listen to the bird soundscape with the water flowing over the waterfalls.  It was a real treat for the senses, as I wandered by, touching the bark on the trees and crouching to feel the mosses springy beneath my hand.

Re-energising at this time of year outdoors is so important. I’m taking everything in, looking for places to return, to sketch, to photograph and create within.  Don’t forget to take time, to just observe,  connecting with nature. Just be in nature…
