I woke this morning to hear that we are in Narnia and we need to find Aslan! A magical winter wonderland was waiting for us on the other side of the wardrobe door.
With my camera in my pocket, moon-boots on my feet and wrapped up warm, we headed out. Snowflakes were still falling, landing on my hat. We walked through 8-10 inches of snow, sometimes deeper in the garden. The trees had a blanket of snow covering their branches, like icing-sugar on a cake. Snow had blown up against their trunks. The last time we had snow this deep was March, 2013.
It was too exciting to sketch today, I was busy playing, exploring and capturing the magic of the garden. It’s so important to have your own adventures. If you haven’t been out, book in some time to play. It will inspire your creativity.
